The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts chain is a luxury hotel chain owned by Marriott International. It was created in 1998 when Starwood Hotels & Resorts acquired the Sheraton brand and created a new St. Regis brand. In September 2016, Marriott International acquired the St. Regis chain as part of its acquisition of Starwood.
