Renaissance Hotels is a luxury hotel brand of Marriott International. It was founded in 1981 under the name Ramada Renaissance, an upscale brand of Ramada Inns. In 1989, the brand was relaunched as Renaissance Hotels. As of June 30, 2020, there are 176 hotels operating under the Renaissance brand, with a total of 55,501 rooms.

Marriott International purchased Renaissance Hotel Group in 1997 for $1 billion, which included the Ramada International brand. Marriott then sold the Ramada International brand to Cendant Corp. (now Wyndham) in 2004.
