KIPP DC is a nonprofit network of public charter schools in Washington, D.C. It was founded in 1994 to provide high-quality education to underserved communities. The schools follow a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, focus on character development, and offer additional academic support.

KIPP DC aims to prepare students for success in college and in life, closing the opportunity gap. The organization operates independently but in partnership with DCPS, and it has been recognized for its achievements in improving student outcomes and increasing graduation rates. KIPP DC is committed to empowering students and helping them become active learners and responsible citizens.
