TAP Air Portugal is the state-owned flag carrier airline of Portugal. It is headquartered at Lisbon Airport and also serves as its main hub. TAP has been a member of the Star Alliance since 2005. On average, it operates 2,500 flights per week to 90 destinations in 34 countries around the world. Its fleet consists of 100 aircraft, all of which are manufactured by Airbus. The only exceptions are 22 aircraft manufactured by Embraer and ATR, which are operated by TAP Express (the airline's regional subsidiary).
